- Formulation $E(5,8)$: Distributes 5 notes across 8 steps. It creates the Tresillo / Habanera rhythm, which forms the underlying heartbeat of Reggaeton, Dancehall, and Afrobeat.
- Formulation $E(7,12)$: Distributes 7 notes across 12 steps. Generates standard West African bell patterns.
- Bjorklund Algorithm: Originally conceived to distribute timing trigger pulses inside nuclear reactors, Godfried Toussaint discovered its direct, identical translation to musical rhythm theory.
